Mi Negocio

Hace casi 2 semanas mi cuñada abrió un kiosco.

No maneja bien Excel y anotar todo a mano era un peso. Entonces entre charlas con mi hermano y mi cuñada surgió la idea: ¿por qué no hacerle una app?

Empecé con un esqueleto en base44 para probar la plataforma, pero la versión gratuita no permite exportar los archivos. Así que abrí el VSCode, migré todo y lo rehíce completamente de forma local con Electron + React.

El resultado: 𝗠𝗶 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗼 🏪

Una app de escritorio para gestionar ventas, caja, inventario, gastos y más. Sin internet. Sin suscripciones. Sin servidores externos — aunque la máquina donde corre la app también puede actuar como servidor local: cualquier dispositivo en la misma red puede ingresar desde el celular, tablet u otra PC, autenticándose con los usuarios de la app.

Algunas funciones:
→ Caja diaria con apertura, cierre y cierre automático
→ Gestión de productos con alertas de stock bajo
→ Calculadora de margen de ganancia por producto
→ Acceso desde el celular por red local
→ Roles de usuario (admin / empleado)
→ Categorías personalizables para cualquier tipo de negocio

Como tengo formación en Seguridad Informática quise poner aprueba conocimientos y aplicar:
→ Contraseñas almacenadas con hash + salt
→ Verificación de integridad del ejecutable al iniciar
→ Licencias vinculadas al hardware del equipo
→ Ningún dato sale de la computadora del usuario

Cuando se la mostré con los últimos cambios, le gustó tanto que me la compró. 🤝

Ese fue el empujón para lanzar una versión trial gratuita de 2 horas y ver si le sirve a más personas.

Y como bonus inesperado: este proyecto me enseñó a usar GitHub de una manera mucho mejor a lo que yo venía haciendo.

Dos semanas. Un problema familiar. Una solución que ya tiene su primer cliente.

Almost 2 weeks ago my sister-in-law opened a kiosk.

She doesn’t handle Excel well and writing everything by hand was a burden. So, during conversations with my brother and my sister-in-law, the idea came up: why not make an app for her?

Since I have training in Information Security, I wanted to test knowledge and apply: 

→ Passwords stored with hash + salt 

→ Executable integrity verification at startup 

→ Licenses linked to the computer hardware 

→ No data leaves the user's computer 

When I showed it with the latest changes, they liked it so much that they bought it from me. 🤝 That was the push to launch a free 2-hour trial version to see if it helps more people. 

And as an unexpected bonus: this project taught me to use GitHub in a much better way than I had been doing. 

Two weeks. A family problem. A solution that already has its first client.
